Hi, my name is Carlo St. Juste. I’m a licensed acupuncturist and healthcare provider. I’m here at Aligned Chiropractic and Wellness in the city of Burbank. I just wanted to speak briefly today about Pericardium 6, which is known as PC 6. It’s a fantastic point that can be used wisely, especially during pregnancy. It’s often utilized for stress relief and calming the mind. Additionally, it’s a great point for improving circulation.
Now, what is the pericardium? The pericardium is a protective sheath that surrounds the heart. In traditional Chinese medicine, it’s classified as one of the 12 meridians. There are a total of 12 meridians in traditional Chinese medicine, and one of them is associated with the pericardium. The heart also has its own meridian.
If you’re interested in working with this point, it’s located between two tendons: the palmaris longus and the flexor carpi radialis. You can simply massage this point for its benefits.
